Hidden Sacrifice | Mini Story

I stare at him laying there motionless, it's a horrible sight to have seen Sora finally after two months since he was kidnapped to be in that state bleeding out in the burning hallway, we had to act quickly so we rushed him right out and got Officer Jenny to get us to Cerulean City as fast as possible all the while I tried to stop his bleeding, by the time we got to the Pokemon Center I was covered in his blood I'm surprised he hang in there but... he fought to stay with us.

That was also the first time I saw him as a Umbreon and not the brother I knew, it was unsettling but since he was taken I've been thinking a lot and I really don't care what he looks like... he's my brother no matter what and I'll be here for him, I just wished when we found him he was safe and healthy waiting for us instead we found he collapsed on the ground near death. Those Team Horizon people.. they did this to him! They did all of this! Trying to change the world, ha... The world can't be changed by a group of people or even one man, the world is what's around you the people you meet and the things you do, sure we can't control some things that happen but you do what you can to make the most of life and the world you're in.

Sora taught me that, he changed many lives and saved others while also losing some, but he learnt that morning over the past won't help so he looked to the future why he fought so hard and why he asked so many questions to me and the pokemon. He wanted to help us and prepare for the future. I can't believe that I thought he wouldn't be my brother anymore of course he is, he may have taken a different shape but under that fur he's Sora, the worrying little brother that worried about everything, now he's all grown up... if he survives...

This is the first I've seen of him after we took him here, he still in really bad shape, he has three large cuts one on his hind leg and two on his forelegs, a cut over his eye and... a very large one over his chest, I couldn't bare to stare at it fearing that I might be sick. Nurse Joy told me that if he survives he'll have scars for the rest of his life, this didn't bother me much as scars you get used too but.. she said if.. so she's not even sure if he will survive either which is nerve racking since not even the doctor knows.

News spread about everything that's happened, people are relieved that Team Horizon were stopped, that the one that did that was Sora, the police force just rounded everything off. At this very moment there are a large group of people camping outside the center waiting to hear about Sora's fate, this is what I meant that Sora changed people... people that would fear him for what he was now wait for his recovery, we all wait.

Everyone is in there pokeball even Luna as I can trust her to not barge right in there and be by his side, and Tabatha is out getting food. I refuse to move from this window, I may still be in the blood drenched clothes but he needs his friends here, his family...

I place my hand on the glass staring in, "Sora... keep fighting, you're almost there... don't give up, we're here for you now", I smile clenching my other hand, "We'll go challenge the gym, we'll win the league together just you see!", I try to keep my tough guy act put my sadness just shines through has tears roll down my cheek and I drop my head and close my eyes tight, "Just.. please... don't go, we need you..." the hall way stays silent the people that are here stopped what they were doing and listened in, "...We'll make our dreams come true...", his paw twitches in the silence as I stand there hoping for the best, "Don''t go.....".

Well for all those that are fans of my Phases Of Change story I hope you enjoyed that X3 I almost brought myself to tears typing it..  almost! ^^ Doesn't help when you channel the character. This is right near the end of my story which I'm not close too so this is a huge spoiler but screw it. Let's hope he survives...
